Below is an email we sent out on 3rd April 2020 to all our customers who booked a tent with us for UTS 2020. If you didn’t receive the email we may have the wrong details for you, or it might have gone to your junk folder.
By now you will have heard that the wonderful team at Underneath The Stars have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s event to 30th July – 1st Aug 2021, in light of the current circumstances with Covid-19.
Whilst this is a sad moment for everyone involved, customers and crew alike, I am sure that you, like us, stand behind them and see it as a wise move.
We have two options for your Glamping tent:
We are certain that Underneath The Stars 2021 is going to be extra special so if you are planning to attend the event and want to guarantee your place in a Vintent or a Bell Tent, then you can simply roll your booking over to next year.
If that isn’t an option for you then we are happy to provide you a refund. As per our terms and conditions, we can provide a refund minus a £50 admin fee.
We hope you understand that this admin fee is not a money making scheme. As a small business which relies heavily on cashflow to function, we have this in place to cover some of our operating costs and processing fees. Like many other businesses and individuals, we are currently facing a very tough year ahead.
If you do opt for a refund, we would like to offer the £50 as a credit against any booking you personally make with Vintents in 2021.
